Established through the generosity of family and friends, the Brenna Currie Scholarship Fund was created in memory of Brenna Marie Currie, who passed away unexpectedly in March of 2013 at the age of 22.
Brenna Marie Currie, from Jamestown, NC, was an extraordinary spirit with a beautiful heart. Brenna attended Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. She was passionate about helping people discover how music could enrich their lives. Her deep belief in the healing power of music led her to pursue a Music Therapy degree.
This scholarship fund set up in Brenna’s honor will help ensure that individuals with developmental disabilities, along with their families, have access to leading-edge music therapy services regardless of their financial situation.
You can help us keep this fund available to all who need it in our community.

The Growing Need
Today, approximately half of Voices Together clients – more than ever before – depend on need-based aid from the organization.
A Letter from one of our Parents
“Voices Together gives my son, who has autism, the opportunity to make friends in a fun group. At the same time, he learns social skills and self-expression skills for the first time as an adult. These new skills help him keep his job and friends and get a life he loves and really enjoy living independently in the community! THANK YOU!”
