Jeanne Johnston

Jeanne started with Voices Together in 2016 and hit the ground running. Her talent and passion were evident from the beginning. She has always loved building relationships with supporters through solid stewardship efforts.  Jeanne believes in ongoing communication with donors and helping donors realize their dream of giving back in a manner that feeds their own soul. Jeanne said, “The Voices Together supporters are some of the nicest and most authentic donors I have ever had the pleasure to work with. I look forward to coming to work, knowing what terrific supporters we have.”

Jeanne has a Bachelor of Science in business from James Madison University and a Masters in Public Affairs from University of North Carolina Greensboro. She also completed required studies at the UNC Kenan-Flagler School of Government in Economic Development and the Community Development Academy.

After 25 years travelling in the corporate sector, Jeanne did field research and internships in downtown development, grant writing and nonprofit organizational structuring during her MPA program. Jeanne is experienced in the creation and execution of strategic plans for businesses nonprofit sectors. She is skilled with the preparation of printed materials and branding for campaigns and community involvement.

Jeanne’s strategic skills involve review and analysis of fundraising models with models ranging from human services, museums to economic development organizations.  Jeanne’s fundraising skills include relationship building, observation and strong listening skills. Jeanne’s goal is to continually bring in additional resources, through expansion of the revenue base, its donors and Voices Together’s overall reach.

Jeanne loves to hike, bike, and kayak all around North Carolina along with her newly acquired skill for oil and pastel painting.
