Nicole Camareno, MM, MT-BC, NICU-MT

Nicole, MM, MT-BC, NICU-MT, is a board-certified music therapist currently working with clients of Voices Together in Greensboro, North Carolina. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music and Multidisciplinary Studies at Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL. Shortly after, she was accepted into the Equivalency music therapy program at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida where she graduated with a Master of Music degree in music therapy, as well as a NICU music therapist certification, after completing the necessary coursework which included a six-month internship at Healing Hearts Music Therapy in Tallahassee, Florida. During her internship she focused on children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, bilingual community groups for children, and wellness programs for older adults.

Nicole has been with Voices Together since July of 2019. What she loves about working here is the family-like environment and the focus on community. She is very excited to serve the diverse clients of Voices Together and looks forward to forging new relationships with them all in Greensboro. She loves using music therapy to provide a safe space for self-expression, as well as an authentic relationship between the clients and herself through the shared medium of music. When she’s not working, Nicole can be found reading at coffee shops, online shopping, listening to true crime podcasts, and practicing yoga.
