Voices Together is operating remotely and providing all services virtually during the pandemic.

Voices Together

Heather Rudkowski serves as coordinator of Voices Together’s Pre-Employment Transitions Services (Pre-ETS) Program, a federally funded program that provides services to help students with specific challenges transition to work.

Heather ensures students in Durham, Guilford, Orange and Wake counties are properly referred to participate in Pre-ETS programs held in schools and after-school community groups. Heather also works closely with the finance manager to ensure all payments from the Pre-ETS program are properly recorded.

The smiles and excitement that clients show when singing their songs and interacting with therapists make Heather very proud to work at Voices Together.

The Pepperell, Mass., native has lived in North Carolina since 2012. Before joining Voices Together, Heather worked at Sam's Club for 19 years and was primary caregiver for her children.

When she's not at work, she can be found catching the latest movies with her sons, reading a book or enjoying some great music or the latest Netflix binge.

Fun Fact

Heather is mother of six great sons, two of whom are on the autism spectrum.
