Voices Together

Kelly Frick is a board-certified and VOICSS®-trained music therapist at Voices Together. She joined the team in July 2019.

Kelly works primarily with clients in Voices Together’s Pre-employment Transitions Services (Pre-ETS) Program, a federally funded program that provides services to help students with specific challenges transition to work.

She uses the VOICSS® model to support individuals with skills that will translate into a work setting, from self-advocacy and communication skills to increased awareness of themselves and others. Her therapeutic approaches include validation of clients’ experiences and creating opportunities that allow individuals to find their voice, express themselves and feel heard.

The Greensboro, N.C. native holds a Bachelor of Music in music therapy from Appalachian State University and Bachelor of Arts in women and gender studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Her prior experience includes working within long-term care and hospice.

Fun Fact

Kelly has a cat named Lyza, who looks a lot like a grumpy cat.
