Voices Together

Spencer White joined Voices Together in 2020 as Director of Operations and Technology where he manages the organization's operations, information technology and the Voices Together Without Borders program. Spencer brings with him over 10 years experience working with nonprofits, advocacy organizations, and political campaigns in a variety of operations and management roles.

In 2017, he formed Craft Progress, a consulting firm that provides comprehensive start-up support for nonprofits and political campaigns with services including support for fundraising, digital advocacy and operations. Prior to that, he worked as a campaign manager, field director, and consultant for local, state, and federal political candidates across the country. Throughout the course of his career Spencer has completed projects for clients in a variety of sectors including the Human Rights Campaign, North Carolina Solar Energy Association, and the town of Knightdale, NC.

Spencer believes in the power of Voices Together’s program to build community and empower the lives of those it serves. He is most passionate about working at the intersection of tech innovation and community service.

Spencer is a native of Chapel Hill, N.C. and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Hunter College and a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Duke University.

Fun Fact

In his free time, Spencer is an avid woodworker and can be found at his local woodshop desperately trying to make a table stay level.
