In School Services

VOICSS® in Education
Voices Together uses music to help students improve academic, social, emotional, and communication skills.

We are currently partnered with Durham Public Schools, Chatham County School, Alamance County Schools, and Orange County Schools offering weekly music therapy services that:

  • help increase students verbal language and speech skills;
  • promotes classroom learning by working to increase a student’s ability to remain seated and engaged in a group setting, and teach positive coping skills students can use that will decreasing the number of emotional or physical outbursts;
  • and supports the development of student’s communication and social skills by increasing their ability to start conversation, speak so others can understand them, and engage in actively listen.

Community Services

VOICSS® in the Community
Group sessions can be a great way to focus on building relationships, improving social skills, and engaging in an atmosphere of peer support. We offer weekly group sessions at various community organizations and facilities in the area. Learn more.

Workshops and Presentations
Voices Together welcomes opportunities to raise public awareness of how music therapy benefits children, teens, and adults with developmental disabilities.
